Jonathan is one of the founding members of Prieto, Marigliano, Holbert and Prieto, LLC (“PMHP”). Jonathan began his legal career with Hall, Booth, Smith & Slover, PC in 1996, being elected to the partnership in 2001. He graduated from Emory School of Law in 1996 following receiving his undergraduate degree in finance in 1992 from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He has lived in Atlanta since 1993.
Prior to representing individual clients at PMHP, Jonathan represented physicians, hospitals, nurses, dentists, chiropractors, therapists, psychiatrists and other health care providers in hundreds of medical malpractice lawsuits. In addition to representing health care providers, Jonathan also defended lawsuits against truck drivers and trucking companies and other businesses sued in road wreck matters. Using his business background from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Jonathan has successfully litigated complex business matters as well as real estate matters. He has also represented numerous retail businesses such as hotels, restaurants, malls, and apartment complexes in retail litigation and has also defended contractors, sub-contractors and construction firms in construction-related matters. He is a frequent lecturer at conventions and seminars and has taken over 30 trials to conclusion.
Jonathan has built a growing sports practice as he has represented a variety of athletes, coaches and other individuals in matters involving football, baseball, basketball, mixed martial arts and boxing. He has advised families of amateur athletes and has assisted regulatory commissions with a host of legal issues including drug-testing and compliance with the governing rules and regulations. He currently assists Georgia’s Athletic and Entertainment Commission which oversees and regulates all combat sporting events in the state of Georgia.Back to Staff
