Prieto, DelCampo, Lopez, & Marigliano LLC is proud to announce the addition of two accomplished attorneys and former judges—Dax López and Antonio“Tony” DelCampo—as partners in the firm. Their arrival marks an exciting new chapter for our firm as we continue expanding our ability to represent individuals and families in complex personal injury and civil litigation cases.
With decades of courtroom experience and a strong record of success advocating for injured clients, both attorneys bring valuable insight that strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver results for people throughout the Atlanta metro region, Calhoun, Cartersville, Dallas, Dalton, Savannah, and across Georgia.
Former Judges Bringing Unique Courtroom Insight
López and DelCampo both previously served as State Court Judges in DeKalb County, Georgia before coming to the firm. Their experience presiding over complex trials gives them a unique understanding of how cases are evaluated and decided in the courtroom.
During his nearly 11 years on the bench, Dax López presided over hundreds of jury trials in both civil and criminal matters. Known for fairness and thoughtful judicial leadership, he built a reputation for careful legal analysis and efficient courtroom management. Before joining the firm, he also earned national recognition when President Barack Obama nominated him to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Tony DelCampo also brings extensive judicial experience to the firm. During his time as a DeKalb County State Court judge, he presided over a wide range of complex civil matters, including high-profile litigation and challenging medical malpractice and product liability trials. In addition to his judicial service, DelCampo has been a respected leader in the legal community and, in 2023, made history as the first Hispanic President of the State Bar of Georgia.
Proven Results in High-Stakes Litigation
In addition to their judicial experience, both attorneys have established strong reputations as trial lawyers capable of handling high-stakes cases.
Throughout their careers, López and DelCampo have helped secure numerous significant verdicts and settlements for injured clients, including:

- $31 million verdict for negligent security resulting in wrongful death
